To conduct, encourage, and promote safe cycling and to promote general interest in cycling.

Mission Statement

The London Cycling Club (LCC) is an all inclusive, not for profit recreational cycling club. We encourage participation in group riding, promote education, safety and public awareness in the sport of cycling through planned rides and other cycling related activities.

We support and encourage a healthy and active lifestyle in our community while promoting cycling as an option and practical means of transportation.

    Marc Deshaies is a long-distance rider and dedicated club volunteer who leads the London Cycling Club with a focus on community, safety, and inclusive cycling culture.


  • Vice-President

    Fred Chagnon - A dedicated cyclist with a focus on rider development and long-distance randonneuring.

  • Secretary

    Joining the club in 2024, Michael McAlpine quickly became an enthusiastic rider and volunteer whose organization and reliability make him a great fit for Secretary.

  • Treasurer

    Alan Hillman has been a dedicated member since 1992 and treasurer since 2017, providing invaluable financial oversight and support.

  • Member at Large

    Linda Alder is a retired nurse and enthusiastic WOW ride leader who brings empathy, experience, and community spirit to the LCC board.

  • Member at Large

    Tim Bell is known for his exceptional leadership of the Social ride group and, outside cycling, volunteers with ski patrol at Boler Mountain and stays active in London’s curling community.

  • Member at Large

    Melissa Adler is an active club member and accomplished Western professor whose leadership, communication experience, and enthusiasm for cycling make her a strong addition to the LCC board.

    Steve Clarke is a longtime social-group regular turned ride leader and bike mechanic who brings experience, enthusiasm, and steady leadership to the LCC board.
